Web3 Developer (Intern/Junior)

Openverse is shaping the future of Web3, and we're looking for passionate Fullstack Web3 Interns to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience building decentralized applications, smart contracts, and scalable web platforms. You'll work closely with our senior engineers to explore both backend and frontend development in the Web3 ecosystem.

Requirements

✓Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields
✓Basic knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and at least one frontend framework (React preferred)
✓Familiarity with at least one backend language (Node.js/Go/Rust is a plus)
✓Interest in blockchain fundamentals: smart contracts, wallets, and dApps
✓Eagerness to learn Web3 libraries (ethers.js, web3.js, @solana/web3.js, wallet adapters)
✓Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design
✓Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to explore new technologies
✓Ability to communicate effectively and work in a remote, collaborative environment

Responsibilities

•Assist in developing fullstack Web3 applications (frontend + backend)
•Learn to write and deploy smart contracts on popular blockchains (Ethereum, Solana, or others)
•Build responsive and interactive UIs that connect with wallets and blockchain networks
•Support integration of APIs, decentralized storage, and blockchain data indexing
•Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to deliver Web3 features
•Research and document new tools, libraries, and frameworks in blockchain development
•Contribute to internal projects, hackathons, and proof-of-concept prototypes
